1984 Dune Poster Series

With my Dune poster series I took inspiration from a graphic design style “Brutalism” that features big, heavy modern fonts, stark color palettes, and striking images. Knowing this, I use multiple striking images from the 1984 Dune with the threshold effect for a tough futuristic feel. To tie this series together, I use an image of a worm entering from the left poster and exiting out of the right poster. I also feature quotes and symbols from the movie to push the idea of Dune in my series.
